For many years, a debate has occurred surrounding the differences between leadership and management. Philosophers, thinkers, and scholars have written many theories on the components of being a good leader or a good manager. Although these two terms differ in meaning, they are often used synonymously. This book examines both the process of leadership and management; compares both processes; and then explores the possibilities of learning the process of leadership.
I have spent my life in the international arena, proving myself to possess the capacity for international operational and intellectual leadership. I have spent my adult career teaching, conducting research, consulting and providing business acumen in the global theater; additionally, I was assigned with the United Nations in Kosovo.
