This novel is a perfect combination of horror and thriller. It´s a kind of ghost story (mostly in the end) and throughout you have this dark atmosphere. The characters are well-described and there are two timelines to follow. While some of the characters are dislikefull, you learn to like others and understand the true meaning of innocent and guilty. It was a fast read for me, because the story was thrilling and I always wanted to know more about what actually happened. The ending is kind of a mind fuck and leaves you thinking.
